Participate to Space/ID Bologna
Space/ID Bologna is a 7-days art laboratory following Space/ID Madrid. The intensive training will take place in Casa La Lodola (Savigno – Bologna – Italy), April 21-28, 2014
and will engage a group of artists, activists, educators, youth leaders
and unemployed LGBTIQ youth. Organizations and groups promoting the
gathering are: Betty&Books (coordinator) – Bologna, Italy; Genres Pluriels – Brussels, Belgium; BLUS – Copenhagen, Denmark; UFA/Fundacja Centra- Warsaw, Poland; Entre Lineas and Toxic Lesbian – Madrid, Spain; qmedia informal group, London, UK.
Participants will be involved in study,
discussion, art practices, cooperative management of the space and
cooking as we work about community, art, self-expression and privilege
focusing on the themes (and practices) of: safer space; arts and
intersectional justice; sexual citizenship, public space and European
citizenship; community space, public space and direct action practices.
As artists, activists and/or speakers, you will be asked to engage during Space/ID activities in a relevant and structured way: sharing a practice, facilitating a workshop, elaborating an individual or collective art project,
on art, gender, LGBTIQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, intersex,
queer) issues and sexuality through the above mentioned themes.
Preparation activities will focus on online participative art practices and will take place from March 7th to the beginning of the course.

Due to funding rules, just selected participants resident in Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Poland, Spain and United Kingdom will be granted within the framework of Youth in Action Programme full coverage of board and lodging in at Casa La Lodola for the whole duration of the activities and 70% of travel reimbursement upon presentation of requested receipts. Participants’ fee is 50 € per person.
